It’s all worth it to see Scott’s stupid smiling face again. Ten years is not nearly enough, not when you put it into perspective, but ten years has given him his best friend back. He keeps telling himself that he’s not afraid but he knows that his days are numbered and that fills him with all the fear in the world. All he can do is keep looking at Scott and reminding himself that it was his fault and he had to make it right.

I don’t know why, but for me the relationship between these two isn’t complete without blood. I guess I prefer it when their relationship starts out with fear and dominance from Peter’s Alpha side, but Peter somehow keeps himself in control around Stiles, interest piqued by the younger man’s lack of fear towards him. And for Stiles, Peter would probably someone whom he admires, respects and learns from, and also someone he’s fearful of.
